Sound and video installation in the ground corridor of Schloss Solitude.
The corridor is generally used to lead to the exhibition rooms which is then closed by the construction of a binnacle for the spectator. The two screens show some buildings filmed in former West and East Berlin. The stereotype of modernist architecture of both parts of the city seem equivalent : nothing reveals a peculiar style according to the different political history of the town as if modernity had been a common paradigme for both systems.
The sound is composed by the juxtaposition of house cooking noises and a Christophe Marchand-Kiss’ poem, reading during the cooking time.
