A reading of excerpts from Les Fumées at the French Institute in Rwanda. The performance consists of retelling the entire trial of Tito Baharira and Octavien Ngenzi in a three-voice reading, with the successive roles of the judge, the executioners, and the witnesses. On stage, for 55 minutes, supported by drawings of the trial, the intensity of the debates brings out the violence contained in the words, between denial and contradictory testimonies, in search of the truth.
A performance with Bwimba Eloi, Hirwa Aubaine, Umutoni Cécile, Kayumba Jean Paul, Kanyankore Mucyo Arnaud, and Mugiraneza Assumpta.
